General Session
One of the interesting challenges surrounding GEOINT 2024 was the shortened load-in schedule. The general session space only became available 18 hours before the start of the meeting. The client needed a large stage with an impressive backdrop so the Creative Technology team came up with a 4-layered visual design that included outboard projection screens and 3 types of LED. The main screen was an impressive 2.8mm ROE Black Pearl LED screen with an upstage layer of see-through ROE Vanish 8 LED backed by an LED star drop curtain. The effect created an impressive video landscape with depth and bold visual content. This along with the PA system, lighting and rigging was installed via a split crew schedule that included an overnight team to complete the load-in before the main show crew returned for rehearsals.
The entire show ran smoothly for 4 days at the Gaylord Palms in Orlando and our client was impressed with our flexibility and collaborative style. Working directly with the GEOINT production team during months of preplanning, getting a clear understanding of their objectives and scaling to meet their needs proved, once again, to be the keys to another successful show.
