ABN Amro Open 2025

The ABN AMRO Open 2025 is more than just tennis – it’s a full day of top-level sports and entertainment. From LED installations and projections to innovative software and engaging content, we transformed Rotterdam Ahoy into a tennis arena where elite sports and entertainment came together.

Long-standing video partner

As the established video partner of the ABN AMRO Open, we unite technology and experience. From content and direction to complete technical implementation: every element contributes to a day of world-class tennis.

‘Experience is one of our core values’, says Alastair Carr, Event Manager at Rotterdam Ahoy. ‘The ABN AMRO Open is the largest tennis tournament in the Netherlands, where we bring the best players in international tennis to the Netherlands. We want to offer our visitors a full day of experience.’

Projection mapping on centre court

Our Creative Services department developed all graphical content – aligned with the event’s brand identity – which was displayed both on center court and on LED screens throughout Ahoy. Using various video solutions, we created an impressive player entrance experience.

For Sunday’s final, a special show was developed. Dancers, projection mapping on the tennis court, music, and content on all screens came together in a spectacular opening show.

Live data and scores on separate screens

Dynamic content generation

During matches, ATP provided a continuous stream of data, including live scores, match schedules, news, and statistics. Using in-house developed software, this raw data was automatically converted into visually appealing content, which was displayed in real-time on the screens.

Throughout Ahoy, approximately 150 LCDs were installed, allowing visitors to follow live scores, check match schedules and statistics, and watch highlights. Thanks to our own network, we could provide different feeds simultaneously, ensuring all visitors had access to the most up-to-date match information.

Software for booking separate courts

Software for booking separate courts

For the practice courts, we developed a special reservation system. Small screens near the tennis courts displayed which courts were available, allowing players and coaches to book time slots for their training sessions.

System monitoring

Real-time monitoring ensures flawless execution

To ensure a seamless experience at the Netherlands’ largest tennis tournament, we deployed our own RMP (Remote Monitoring Platform). This monitoring system provided real-time insight into the complete audiovisual setup. Operators, specialists, and producers received health analyses of all equipment – from computers and network equipment to LED panels, projectors, and media servers. This allowed potential problems to be detected and resolved before they impacted the show.

LED screens for all tennis courts

We provided various LED screens and boarding to display all content. Centre Court featured overhead LED screens and LED boarding around the court and on the first tier. The two official match courts next to Centre Court each received LED screens for displaying scores, schedules, and statistics. The Showcase Court, where children’s clinics took place, was also fitted with LED screens.

From our central control room, we managed all the content during the tournament: from live match footage and replays to graphics and entertainment elements. Our cameras provided additional entertainment with features including the Kiss Cam, Best Seat of the House, and a live quiz.
