Creative Technology, a leading provider of advanced audiovisual solutions, successfully delivered a full-scale AVL setup for Aramco’s Formula 1 promotional activations in Barcelona and the United Kingdom. These activations mark a major step in how global brands are leveraging immersive technology to engage fans beyond traditional sponsorship. From high-resolution LED displays to real-time media playback, lighting, and pro-grade audio, CTME ensured a consistent and premium experience across multiple locations.
Scalable AV Infrastructure Across Borders
The Barcelona activation featured custom-built AV systems tailored for high-footfall outdoor environments. At the heart of each activation was a large-format LED screen measuring 5m x 2.5m, delivering ultra-high-resolution visuals in a cinematic 2:1 aspect ratio. Each one of the main displays was accompanied by two 2.5m x 2.5m IMAG screens, creating a dynamic and immersive visual experience for fans. The full LED installation utilized 2.9mm outdoor-rated LED panels, offering both weather resistance and superior image clarity—ideal for open-air Formula 1 events. These supplementary displays provide close-up views and additional content, creating a comprehensive visual experience for attendees. CTME’s meticulous planning and deployment ensured structural safety and high-impact visibility, with each LED installation weighing over 1.1 tons.
